12hr duty day (couple more to spare, so that was good)
7.7hrs flight time
18 legs.
approximately 18,000lbs of people and stuff moved
and I got to be Alaska Airlines flight 71, with service to Gustavus (because the alaska jet scrubbed out because the awos was broken)

Kind of makes me feel like a jerk. Logged about 4 hours of dual given today and I am beat. In my very weak defense it was around 105 all day today which makes touch and gos pretty brutal.

Dude, not knocking you at all but I always seem to get 6AM flights, 13-14 hour days and slightly less time. I swear someone in Gusto has it in for me.....

Never heard of em, but I guess they probably never pass by Wrangell or Petersburg. Yeah I'll be doing it with the FSDO. Forgot the name of the examiner, but I guess he's quite the hardass. Yeah I'll give you a shout before I head up.
 
Think you have me beat. There were a few toughies at FLX when another plane broke down, but I think my record is probably an on-demand flight last winter for UPS. CPS-SDF-MDW-BWI-PHL-SDF, 7.9 and something like 13.5. Then I dutied out and flew home 91 because I wanted to make beer call THE NEXT EVENING. It definitely takes the sting away when you're making 25c/mile on top of salary, though...I'm going to miss that.

Hourly plus daily rate = money in the bank. I can't complain, I like the activity, beats sitting around for sure.
