Login issues

I just got it back in South Dakota. It's been down for me since Thursday morning, and just came back on Sunday evening within the last couple hours (current time 9:30cst). This is the only website I have not been able to access, everything else has worked.

Already did, but didn't change anything... It has been down for me all day and was still down when I checked earlier around 7:45p MST

And it's a basis "404 error", but you are still able to get on by typing in the URL at https://megaproxy.com/freesurf ?

Anyone else who is reading this thread, I'm a Mac weenie, could you talk CRJ through doing a traceroute on a Windows computer?

its pretty simple, IIRC i think you just go to the command prompt (i think you can do it from the run prompt off the start menu also) and type tracert *ip adress*

Will that windows command handle a URL instead of an IP?

I system dumped any non-*nix systems knowledge years ago.

Indeed it will chief.

Go to Start | Run -or- type cmd in the search box and type the following:

tracert forums.jetcareers.com

well, i guess im just a glutton for punishment, always doing things the hard way. :)

there are some jetgirls that are having the same type of problem where they can get access in one location but not another...really bizarre!!

but jetgirls and jetcareers are on the same ip so we figure it must be the same issue, we just don't know what the dealio is yet

So far, no problems today.

I ran a traceroute and this is what came up...

Tracing route to forums.jetcareers.com [72.167.55.216]

1 Transmit error: code 5.

Trace complete.

Weeeeell, if you're surfing the IP, that's good enough. Not sure what's up wit hthe traceroute
