61.195 only says that within a consecutive 24 hour period you cannot conduct more than 8 hours of flight training. That's it.

8 hours in an airplane, but you can teach sim until you are blue in the face.

it just takes basic math.

31 24hr blocks in a 31 day month
31*8= 248hrs in a 31day month.

7 8hr blocks in a week
7*8= 56hrs a week

But only of instruction. If you fly for fun, fly 24 in 24 (if your crazy:drool::crazy.
