LH Cargo/World MD-11's ???

I was curious who operates this?

We sat behind one during a groundstop in JFK yesterday just short of the runway.
Crew used callsign "Lufthansa Cargo" and spoke very good english.
-but i know thats the funny thing in JFK- sometimes a foreigner will actually speak better english than others. I've heard this a few times now.

Or is this a World crew/codeshare/job ???

i think its world, because gemini used to do the LH cargo and now world owns a few of gemini's airplanes.

I believe whenever a company like World does work for another Airline, they use that Airlines call sign, its still a World aircraft with World pilots, but the cargo on board is LHs.

LH proper also runs MDs. And once in a while, you'll hear a german with an American accent.

I think I read somewhere that World does the LH run to JFK, but I'm not positive. It is correct if it is an ACMI flight, one uses the customer's callsign.
