NEW YORK (CNN) -- Authorities have evacuated a concourse of New York's LaGuardia Airport, a Port Authority official said Saturday.

Details on what caused the evacuation were not immediately available.

Authorities evacuated Concourse C, said Sean Kelly, a spokesman for New York's Port Authority.

LaGuardia is located in the borough of Queens in New York City, and is about 8 miles from Manhattan.
