I was going to just post a cool auction link of a plane I liked.

On second thought, I'll explain why I like the PC-9 and why I encourage folks to apply for jobs, even when they fall short of the listed job requirements.

Years ago, with a commercial ticket and 200 hours King Air time, I applied as a ground school instructor for a Middle Eastern air force.

There were IP positions available but they wanted tactical jet experience and IP experience. To make a long story short, with my sad resume, I got a check ride in the PC-9 and was offered a job.

My point is, take a shot, APPLY! The 91/135/diplomatic/ISR world is often about networking, professionalism, and not being a jerk.

Oh, I love PC-9's. The best 90 minutes of stick time I've ever had. Grow a mustache, buy a watch you can't afford, and talk and network your way into opportunities.

I saw Spartan had activity over there. Tempted, it's just how to get an in. Formation flypast would be good for graduation ceremonies.
