I understand his pain and grief, but it sounds like the lear was past the point of no return when it crashed...of course we'll all have to wait for the official NTSB report.

Still, what gets me is that he's suing the dead pilot and copilot...that's just not cool IMHO.

I seriously doubt, unless the crew had insurance that would pay, that the families of the crew will lose any assets. I can't imagine that a wealthy rock star would throw a widow and children out of their house for a fraction of what he is after from the big defendents in the case.
