Lear 35 resources

Bottom of the list
Anyone know where to go for some general info on the Lear 35 (basic systems really)? I think mostly what will matter is that I can interact like a normal human being and fly a sim without red screening but if the topic comes up in conversation it'd be nice to sort of have some idea what's what.

Interview in squarebanks? They have a be20 sim there.

I can remember beating myself up in that thing. The biggest help was having someone able to critique, what I couldn't.

Good luck dude!

PM me with email and I'll hook you up.

I've got a pilot training manual or 6 from Flight Safety laying around here. I can get one out to you if you'd like. Just let me know.

The 35 is a straight shooter, the sim isn't bad at all. Working the door for the first time, well, that is a different story.

What?! You telling me your jet doesn't work in the same totally efficient and error-free fashion?

My ... teehee ... jet has a two-part utility door, the aft part of which is locked with a fairly simple double-pawl top and bottom latch actuated by a single red handle. The forward door has an integral pull-type handle on the outside complete with over-center latching mechanism to allow external closure. The internal mechanism is a rotate-to-close style "handle."

Efficient and error-free. Unless you forget to close the aft section, which will apparently cause structural damage.

But, um, I digress~
