Looks like I'll be in KLEX for a week or so doing some mapping. Thought I'd see if anyone has insights that could help me out while I'm living hotel room life in the vicinity. Thanks!
 
down by uk there are some decent bars. Lexington also has the distinction of having the worst race relations of any city I've seen outside of maybe Cincinasty. Good luck! If you can get over to the Ville do so. Its a much better place in every way.
 
If you're going to be in any place for a couple of weeks you owe it to yourself to go down to the nearest Homewood Suites and have a good negotiation with the sales manager, especially if you're going to be needing more than one room.

Then again, if there's a bunch of you and you're all on straight per diem, man up and cram yourselves into one room at the motel 6.

I spent a couple days there mapping myself last year, there was a seriously cute line service chick named Chris there, if you're into older chicks.

I'd go for a drive through the countryside, the rolling hills are rather scenic.

You could also make the trek to Elizabethtown and hope you run into Kiersten Dunst...

Wasn't really there long enough to get to know the town very well. New Orleans was another matter entirely!

Damn, that was a fun job!
