ACET Herat, Herat Afghanistan, International:

• Serves as a pilot-in-command/copilot on a King Air 300 aircraft deployed in Afghanistan.
• Performs ISR flights during both day and night conditions, in support of military operations as directed by the Task Force Commander.
• Must be able to support additional duties such as mission planning, scheduling, operational training, and mission management.
• Must maintain currency and proficiency on King Air 300/350 aircraft.
• Must be able to meet all deployment requirements and be able to live in austere living conditions.
• Must abide by all local regulations, directives, physical and physiological requirements as set forth by the USFOR-A Commander.

Pilots are responsible for pre-flight planning, aircraft pre-flight checks and coordinating the mission with operators and mission commanders, who operate the onboard sensor systems and are responsible for mission planning and operations.
