Thanks! I just got done with my LOFT flight and am now currently awaiting my chariot back to Denver from San Antonio!

Also, thanks to HeyEng for showing me around and giving my head a break from the many V1 cuts and emergencies!

Congrats!!!...that's pretty awesome. Glad you could make it out...it was good to get out of the office for a little bit too!

How did your training go?

Went relativity well! We got so much done on the first couple days, we were ahead in the syllabus and my instructor was trying new things to get me to run it into the ground. It didn't work, so he repos me into the mountains at 7,000 while I'm IMC and instant death.

Also, what's Amflight's philosophy on nose wheel steering? A couple months ago I heard someone going into CVG requesting to go back out since his NWS was not working. We've been told not to arm the system til Speeds Low and below 40 kts landing, and off completely for takeoff.

We're the same. It's really at my discretion though. On gusty days you may want to arm it a bit quicker to gain positive control. It gets real squirrly on the windy days.

Congrats! ATP and a Type! The next time we meet, I'll have to call you "sir!. Or maybe "Sir, Junior". ;)
Hahaha, actually Boris I had the ATP going in but thanks ;) and Now I can probably write you out that three page essay on the NTS system. Just let me whip out my Honeywell Garrett TPE331-11-U (the U stands for Upward inlet, or in your case, Upsides down) reference manual.

On another note, I'm about half way through IOE and am feeling pretty comfortable in the plane... not 2,300 hours in the AC50 comfortable, but good enough.
