Kiddos came out and watched me do checkride prep last night.

Cool dad moment. Before we moved away when I EAS'd, they were previously growing up in a military town with a dad who worked on helos so it was sort of a "meh" level of interest to them until they came out to the airport last night and watched me do some private checkride prep. My wife caught this picture as I came by, not bad for an iPhone camera.

Yeah it was great having them there watching. Hopefully my check ride will be here in a week or two and I'll be able to take them up.
