Some people asked a few questions, so I gave a few answers and left names and identifying information out of it.

As I told the member in question via PM, "there but for the grace of God go I." None of us is immune to random events, not even jhugz.

Our true measure is what we do after and from what I understand this particular individual is back flying. Good for him.
 
KL is a good place to get some serious IMC time. QOL is typical brown box work. Don't ask many questions no matter how trivial. Your intentions are not considered when employment decisions are made. KL is a good place to find out just how much ice a PA31 will fly with as most outstations do not have deice equipment.

More than 50% that leave do not leave under positive circumstances.

I actually have a lot to say about this... but since my momma always told me "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." I'll just leave it at that.
