I think it might be helpful for a list of acronyms and abbreviation meanings. I know when I first started reading this site, which was not that long ago, I felt very lost and still come across things I do not understand. Things like IOE and DPE and many others I can not think of right now had me using the search and google to find a definition. I finally broke down and asked what they meant.
Could help other noobs get past the initial culture shock of the JC community.
Alright guys/gals, we've been called into action.

STAR: Standard Arrival Route
SID: Standard Instrument Departure
DP: Departure Procedure
ODP: Obstacle Departure Procedure
VFR: Visual Flight Rules
IFR: Instrument Flight Rules
Part 61: Certification of Pilots and Flight Instructors
Part 91: Operating Rules for the majority of General Aviation operators
Part 121: Operating Rules for 121 Certificated companies
Part 135: Operating Rules for 135 Certificated companies
Part 141: Part 61 on steroids (used by 141 certificated flight training establishments)
FO: First Officer
CAPT: The Boss
FA: Flight Attendant
JC: JetCareers
FI: FlightInfo
APC: Airline Pilot Central
PPW: Pro Pilot World
ALPA: Airline Pilot's Association
