Keeping Workout Clothes Fresh on the Road

Steals Hotel Toilet Paper
Scenario:

You’re on a multi-day trip. You get up in the morning and go for a run. You attempt to dry your workout gear to no avail and stick wet clothes into your bag (inside a laundry bag, obviously) for an afternoon report. You get to the next hotel and try to further dry your clothes but they already smell like a high school locker room.

Any tips/tricks to avoid this?

Wear only synthetic workout clothes and bring enough undershorts and socks for each day you plan to exercise, they're a write-off after every workout.

Thoroughly rinse your shirt and running shorts after your workout. Lay a towel on the floor, place your shirt and shorts on top of the towel and roll the whole thing up. Walk on it to squeeze as much water out as possible. Then hang everything up for as long as you can, preferably in front of the AC unit with the fan running. It'll dry a lot faster and even put away damp it should limit the funkiness when you get to the next layover.

Or work out naked and short circuit the whole problem.

Synthetic materials, especially quality ones, that don't smell or stay wet. I have a few Under Armour shirts that I can work out in a few times before they need a wash.

The newer synthetic quick dry stuff, you can put some hand soap and wash/rinse in the sink if you need to. Wring it out and it should be dry in 30 minutes. The makes shorts, shirts, socks and underwear in these materials.
