KCM at TPA

Happy to report that we finally broke the illuminati and Koch brothers' combined efforts to conspire against crew processing through our security stations 30-seconds faster than they would through our employee lines:

On Monday, April 16th our local TSA in partnership with Airlines for America (A4A) introduced the Known Crew Member (KCM) program to Tampa International Airport. They are currently offering KCM at Airsides A and C. For ASA, KCM(s) are processed on the left side of the exit lane and, once cleared, KCM(s) will enter the sterile area through the exit lane. For ASC, TSA is currently processing KCM(s) inside the vestibule on the public side of service entrance door C201. Once the KCM(s) is cleared, the TSO will use their SIDA badge on the ACS reader at C201 and allow the KCM(s) to enter through C201 (unescorted). This process has been approved by Assistant Federal Security Director for Inspections, Ms. Lynne Whiting. You will notice a new camera has been installed in this vestibule area, also at FSD Kair’s request, to monitor the process and door activity. Airsides E and F will be added in the near future.

Now leave me alone.

:p
