Just got a backpack..

Do you guys fly airplanes? This Airbus Captain who has been moving kitchens and bathrooms around the sky for 21 years has a backpack because it carries government issued piece of equipment...you got a problem with that? :)

Me too. Been using this pack for years now and it has served me very well. I use a couple carabiners to attach it to my rig.

Been to requal yet this quarter? I'm going on the 17th.

I started commuting with a backpack just a couple months ago. I used to hate pilots with backpacks but at the moment I can't afford anything else and I have to commute with my bicycle helmet, shoes, gps, and various other cycling stuff and a backpack is the most convenient place to put it. I have a bike in base and at home but don't have enough money to have duplicates of all the other equipment so I commute with it. I rarely have the backpack on my back though, it's usually always on my overnight bag.
