We landed at Mackinac County Airport (83D) this afternoon for some gas before headed over to Iron Mountain.

I used to fly for GLA out of 83d and worked with the owner every day. He bases the plane up there in the summer and NC in the winter. He is very busy with air tours every year.

I was just there on a pleasure trip with my boss and his family. We had gone up to Green Bay and Mackinac Island.

I'm based out of Cherokee County Airport (47A), just north of ATL.
