Jumpseating with Delta.

Hey guys,
My friend flew on Delta Airlines last week. On his return flight he was able to sit in the jumpseat for the whole flight. He said he asked the flight attendant if it was possible and even provided his passport.

For some reason I find this very hard to believe. To be honest, I think this is the worst fabricated story (ie. he's full of [censored]). He also mentioned that the Captain on his flight was 61 years old.

So, can anybody comment on this. Is it possible to jumpseat during the whole flight as a regular passenger on Delta?

Thanks

Is he aware that retirement age for Commercial airline carriers is 60?

Yeah, that's what I thought too.
I asked him several questions about his "jumpseat flight". And the question about the pilots ages was what turned on all the alarms.

I'm going to have some fun with this. I am going to talk to him tonight and ask him some more questions to see how elaborate his lie is.

You guys have ideas for questions that would put him on the spot.

let's see.....

1. ask him where the capt was sitting?
2. or the flight engineer? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I am assuming he was not on a 727, therefore there would not have been one. ( I think).

Complete crap. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

But.... for the sake of OUR entertainment: By all means - keep letting him dig his own hole and the squash `em like the dung beetle he is. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

This from lamer.net:

NEWS: Due to bandwidth concerns, we will no longer allow remote linking to the images in the index after Wednesday, June 11. The index will remain active, however you will have to save any images you'd like to link to your own webspace. Also, please note that the address to the index has changed... instead of http://www.lamer.net/imageindex.html, the address is http://images.lamer.net. All images are also moved from www.lamer.net to images.lamer.net, so for example, http://www.lamer.net/owned.jpg is now http://images.lamer.net/owned.jpg. There are redirects in place so that existing links do not get botched, but these redirects will be removed on June 11 when remote linking will no longer be allowed.

IOW, the link won't work. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I think this is what it looks like.
