The pushback of the Jetblue planes is done by America West Ramp agents in Burbank so if this comes out to be somehow their fault, they are in big trouble.
Jet Blue uses the gate befre last one in terminal A, it used to be Aloha's gate. Anyways it is really hard to push an enormous A320 in such a limited space so the nosegear does some extreme turns.
All and all I watched it land live on TV, infact my friend was telling me the other day why do we need so many pilots with all the advanced technology that we have and I guess he got hi answer today.
And for all the confusion over here, A320 CAN NOT dump fuel and that was the reason they got clearance to fly in a lower altitude for well over 2.5 hours, so they could burn the fuel.
Good job to the crew, you are worth every penny.
