Does anyone have a diagram showing the parts of a janitrol heater that the piper seminole has? Or a janitrol heater in general? I need to print one. Thanks

Yea i saw that pic already thanks anyway though. I was hoping for the one that shows all the parts and has a picture of the whirling flame inside. I figured maybe an instructor here has one possibly.

Trip7's,

The heater heats the cabin of the airplane.

Call ALLATP's and they might get you some information. It's just about all they use (Seminoles). I know in JAX they have a heater cut in half and some good visual aids.

Good luck

Ice: I was bored today, so I did a bit of googling myself to see if I might be able to lend you a hand....and am sad to say I came up empty as well.

Good luck!

the flame whirls because the round shape of the inside combustion chamber. When the combustion fan blows the air in it starts spinning.

The whirling flame is very stable and sustains combustion under adverse conditions, and the inner combustion chamber is more evenly heated.
