does anyone have information regarding island air? is it a good place to work are upgrade times reasonable? any solid information would be great. thank you for all responses.
 
If my memory serves me correct, flightinfo.com has a lot of threads on them, but I cannot verify this as I will not pay the $10 to join there site(more shnit throwing than actual info). I remember reading that it is hard to live there on regional pay, but if your gonna be broke either way, why not be in paradise. Also, note the "no per diem."
 
Could you be a bit more specific? I dont know what upgrade time are, but it used to be in the 2 - 3 year range. But since Aloha and Hawaii are not hiring right now, both have some on Furlough I think, as well as no growth, I expect that upgrade time to stay the same, maybe even increase.

They did get one of their Q400s. THere were supposed to get more. But in the past, they had -200 series dashes and they returned them because they werent profitable. So we'll see how long they will hang onto the 400s before they return them
