My mom was talking to a guy who said that he went to school on a DC-3 w/o a multi. He said that the school counted as the training for his multi. Is this true? If it is I mind as well just go to school on a multi in my area then find a job flying on it.
I could be true. You can do any training in any aircraft. If you had access to a lear or a 757 you could get your private license in it (legally speaking). Chances are he got his multi add on through the program (although I would kind of doubt it for insurance reasons). More than likely though it was a type rating he picked up and not his initial multi.
