Is SMILE (small-incision lenticule extraction) Laser Vision Correction allowed by FAA?

I am currently considering eye surgery and doing my own research. So far SMILE looks like an more advanced surgery with less complications.
The questions are,

1) Does anyone know SMILE is allowed by FAA?
2) Has anyone here has experience before?
