Prototype airframes #1 and #2 (pictured in the OP) did a bunch of flight testing, prototype #3 is being built right now.
Wider than le Bus and substantially composite.

Different one. I believe that was the Sukhoy Superjet. It's (the SSJ 100) on the market now and before I left, the were quite a few of them around.

The Ford Tri-Motor was pretty ugly, IMHO. /s. I wish we flew the L1011 versus the MD10/11. Those are way more prettier.

Saw one in San Antonio of all places a couple years back, the mexican airline Interjet flies them.

I wasn't aware the SSJ-100 was allowed into our airspace. It has a fairly poor track record with regards to reliability according to some international sites like the prune. Some operators are trying to divest themselves of the type for economic reasons, maybe it works for Aeroflot?
