Interview with Air Cargo Carriers

I have an interview with Air Cargo Carriers out of MKE coming up and was wondering if anyone here worked there or had any info on them. Thanks in advance.
 
I know several people that were recently hired by them. They all seem to really enjoy working there. You are based with the airplane and can expect to fly pretty much everynight M-F (at least the people I know do that). Crew bases are predominantly in the eastern half of the U.S., however, I believe they have at least one out in Santa Barbara, CA. Good luck with the interview and enjoy the Winnebago with wings.

Congrats on the interview. A buddy of mines who works/worked for Air Cargo Carriers has been trying to get me to send in resume with a referral from him. My times are low but I finally filled out the online application a couple of days ago. I don't know if I have a shot in hell. He told me to just keep sending my updated resume every once in while. If I am lucky enough to get an interview in a little while, I am going to try to get based out of DTO and fly charter (19 days on and 9 days off).

What were your times? How soon after you filled out the application/sent in your resume were you called?

I interviewed in June, and was hired. I took a job somewhere else, however I had ACC added to aviationinterviews.com and posted my experience there. It's a good site, I suggest you take a peak and register (it's free if you find the right link).

Basic heads-up:

- Review the instrument written, all chapters
- Know how to use an HSI and RMI
- Know how to do full procedure-turns on approaches using localizers and VOR radials
- Know how to read government plates
- The sim is very pitch sensitive, just be patient, and don't ***** about it
- Go eat at the airport restuarant nearby, I think it's called the Landing Strip. There's a really really good BBQ sandwich.

Just an FYI, as of a few months ago they had stopped PFT. However, I met a current captain with them that was hired 12 months ago or so with low time and he had to pay $12k for training.

I've answered many of BayAreaCFI's questions on Flightinfo....

And to anybody else with ACC questions, myself and a buddy who is currently there have answered just about any question there is related to ACC on the Cargo board of Flightinfo.
 
Yea I sure do recognize it! Thanks again for answering all those questions over there. I was just trying to getall the Info I could. Anyways my interview is on Oct. 26 so I'll let you guys know how it goes.
 
I guess I need to snail mail a resume.. I dunno what else to do. :) I faxed one, e-mailed one.. that's all that's left, other than flying my happy self up there and handing it to them. :)
