Well, I flew to Phoenix yesterday, had my interview, and I think I did ok. It consisted of a 20 question test, of which I missed 4 I think, so I did ok on that. I had an interview with 2 people, and I think I did ok. Keep in mind that I am fresh off the turnip truck, 3 weeks out of dispatcher school, with no experience. I hope they give me the opportunity. I do like Phoenix. If anyone on here presently works for Mesa as a dispatcher, maybe you can find out for me if I am in the running? Thanks. My name is Brian Davis

congrats on the interview. i teach dispatch and any info you can give on the interview would be greatly appreciated. Always looking to build a better Dispatcher.

Check your email that is how you will know if you get hired. (Most of the time).

One of my college roommates works at Mesa in Phoenix as a dispatcher. She absolutely loves it there! Good luck :) I actually just spoke with her a few days ago about her job as a dispatcher, because I am looking to attend a dispatcher training program at the end of this year. Does anyone have any advice about which school would be the best to attend? Location doesn't matter to me, I'm basically looking for 2 things: job placement rates and VA benefit eligibility.

It seemed like it would be a good place to work and learn. I am not sure what their time table is on hiring, but I hope to hear from them in a few days.

Well, a week and a a half later, still no reply back from mesa. Guess I didnt get it. :(

Don't take it personal. But like every one else MAG is downsizing. So they removed the slot. HEck from what I heard recently at work they are now going to lay off 15 A&P mechanics at IAD (won't be surprised if it was true) .

But they at least should have given you a generic letter (Thank you for applying your resumes is very impressive but we will not take you. etc).

Yeah, it wouldn't be surprise me if they realize they didn't need new dispatchers until after they interviewed everyone.
