ASA offers exceptional opportunities each school term to highly-motivated students, in its Internship Program. The program provides students with hands-on experience and professional growth in their field of study. Additionally, students who have completed an internship increase their marketability for future positions upon graduation.

The program is a one semester or quarter paid, work assignment that includes limited travel benefits. Students must be Juniors or Seniors with a 3.0 or higher GPA, who are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Positions are available in both Atlanta, Georgia and Dallas, Texas each semester or quarter.

Internship benefits:

Gain knowledge of FAA regulations and FAR compliance
Increase knowledge of airline operations policies and procedures
Exposure to airline operations FAR compliance
Opportunity to participate in airline management
Other benefits, based on availability:

CRJ ground school
CRJ simulator instruction (Flight interns only)
Jumpseat privileges
Tours of Atlanta ATC, Atlanta Center and ASA's maintenance facility in Macon, GA
Non-revenue, standby travel on Delta, Delta Connection carriers and some code-share partner airlines
If you're interested in a Management Internship in the areas of Corporate Safety, OSHA, Environment, In-Flight, Corporate Communications, Marketing or Human Resources, you must be currently enrolled at one of the following schools:

Georgia State University
Georgia Tech
Kennesaw State University
Maryville College
University of Alabama
University of Georgia
Emory University
Wesleyan University
Note: Management Internships available in Atlanta only.

For an internship in Flight Operations, Pilot Recruiting, Flight Training or with the Chief Pilots' Office, you must be currently enrolled at one of the following schools:

Auburn University
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Purdue University
University of North Dakota
Western Michigan
