Visit our website (www.Jeppesen.com) to learn more about Jeppesen’s pioneering spirit, and to apply for our open positions.Special Notice: Would prefer students to have a background in flight, air traffic control, aviation operations, or other aviation domain, but this is not required.Summary:This position will involve assisting Airspace Specialists with procedure design, creating new and updating existing flight procedures.  The position will assist in multiple aspects of procedure design including preparing documentation, applying design criteria, and assisting in the creation of flight procedures.Relocation is offered for this positionEssential Functions:• Update database with information for new procedures • Create basic procedures for Airspace Specialists • Apply appropriate design criteria to procedures • Compile proper forms and documentation for procedures • Build associated files for creating procedures • Perform Obstacle Evaluations for new and existing procedures • Perform NOTAM checks for new and existing procedures. • Makes designated corrections noted against the asset by more senior employees. • Requests clarification of aeronautical source and specification issues as needed • Receives considerable technical direction, training and guidance from compliers, senior positions, and supervisors as required or requested • May perform other duties as requiredEducation/Experience:• Interns must be actively enrolled in some form of accredited higher education. This includes programs provided by universities, vocational schools, community colleges, institutes of technology, or other organizations that awards academic degrees. • Interns must complete at least one year within their institution of higher education and carry a 3.0 grade point average before being considered for a Jeppesen internship. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:• Knowledge of flight, air traffic control, or other domains of aviation knowledge • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications • A familiarity with flight procedures, charts, and other documentation is a plus • Demonstrated ability to perform detail-oriented tasks • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environmentJeppesen offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a retirement plan with company match.  All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of background verification.
