To maintain state-of-the-art subject matter expertise on existing and planned technologies, including related products and services. To provide common internal and external point-of-contact for the consistent communication of approved problem-solving techniques, strategies and solutions to enable the sale and <span style="font-size: 8pt;">optimum</span> operation of products and services. </span></p><p style="line-height: 12.0pt;"></p><p style="line-height: 12.0pt;"><strong><em><span style="font-family: ’Arial’,sans-serif;">Essential Functions:</span></em></strong></p><p style="line-height: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 8pt;">Provide Tier 2 Technical Support for Jeppesen&#8217;s navigation products, focused primarily on paper and electronic charts. Secondary focus is on NavData products and services. Resolve problems and questions regarding the content, format or errors/omissions in our products that are escalated form Tier 1 (GSCC), CA/BA and GA sales &amp; service, or direct inquiries from customers. Communicate directly with customer on technical issues via various mediums of communication (email, phone, instant message or walk-up). Investigate product functional issue and determine appropriate actions for resolution. Record customer interaction and resolution detail in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Chart Standards and Airway Manual Product Management. Provide input on new product implementations. Perform other duties as assigned. </span></p><p style="line-height: 12.0pt;"><strong><em><span style="font-family: ’Arial’,sans-serif;">Education/Experience:</span></em></strong></p><p style="line-height: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: ’Arial’,sans-serif;">Bachelor&#8217;s degree in aviation or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Commercial pilot certificate and instrument rating, or dispatch license. </span></p><p style="line-height: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: ’Arial’,sans-serif;">Minimum of two (2) years charting experience with an emphasis on terminal procedures, NavData experience a plus. </span></p><p style="line-height: 12.0pt;"><strong><em><span style="font-family: ’Arial’,sans-serif;">Knowledge, Skills, &amp; Abilities:</span></em></strong></p><p><span style="font-family: ’Arial’,sans-serif;">Exceptional customer service skills required. Knowledge in Chart Design and/or the standard and tailored chart development and distribution process a plus. Considerable ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a team environment. Ability to carry out assignments without direct supervision. General understanding of NavData coding, FARs, government chart products, and government AIM and contents therein. General understanding of Chart Design issues including standard and tailored chart development and distribution, charting specifications, and revision criteria/production considerations. General knowledge of paper and electronic chart products with an emphasis on terminal chart products and procedures.
