Position Description


Operates aircraft and manages instructor pilots performing aircrew duties, including activities to prepare for and conduct safe flight operations; applies crew resource management principles to the operation of aircraft. Performs and manages activities to develop and conduct familiarization, qualification, standardization, flight and ground instruction for company and customer aircrew. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops, trains and evaluates instructor pilots. Job requires FAA ATP certificate with the appropriate endorsements. Applicants are required to possess and maintain an FAA Class I Medical Certificate.

Technical

General knowledge and ability to use standard crew resource management, weight and balance calculations, navigation procedures, airspace, meteorology, aircraft performance data, communication operations, flight planning, industry regulations and pilot aviation skills to perform aircraft operations.

[ + ] Flight Instruction Techniques
Complete knowledge of flight instruction techniques (e.g., analysis of student errors, planning of instructional periods, assessment of progress, laws of learning) for aircraft.



Basic Qualifications For Consideration

Do you have an FAA ATP certificate?

Do you have instructor experience in Transport Category airplanes?

Do you have and can you maintain an FAA Class I Medical certificate?

14 CFR Part 121 or foreign equivalent airline pilot or management experience greatly preferred. International flying experience preferred. Boeing airplane instructor experience preferred. Management experience preferred.
