Instructing with a full time job

Okay, so I've been offered a job as an airport operations officer. It's full time, but the shifts are either morning, afternoon, or night so there's always at least half the day (daylight hours) open. I still want to be able to instruct on the side. Has anyone had a similar situation? Did it cause a big problem with your availablity with students?

Depends on the job and the students and how much time you want to spend teaching.

I have a full time gig at the moment and it isn't too bad. It just makes the days longer because I either fly early in the morning or evening or night. On a full day, I will leave the house at 6:30AM and return around 9pm. I don't have that many students at the moment though.
