My current gig is great to work at but it's location is less than desireable. I'm from Chicago so if I were going to move for instructing it would be to Chicago. If I could get another job actually flying an airplane I would move anywhere.I joined 350 and see multiple instructor jobs daily. Consider going south for winter?

Eh. The paychecks need to be bigger but they always showed up. Equipment was good and well maintained. Students, syllabus, and facilities were all provided. You find underpaid and overworked to be great? How about the new rules generated each month? I thought otherwise while I was there. I see regular listings for Chicago area flight schools on big orange (like others have said). Come find me when you get 1200tt and I can get you hooked up with a 135 cargo outfit. Yes, I went to school there. Yes, I worked there for a long time.![]()
Still better than a lot of CFI gigs out there and at least the students spoke English.

So, does anyone know anywhere in Chicago that is hiring CFIs? I've already thrown a few resumes out there.

LeTourneau University. Got a degree and I'm instructing there now.Which school are you currently at right now?
Problem is my school's slow season is the summer.200 more hours (assuming the rest of the 135 mins are in line too) should open up some doors.
