Installing a fuel computer

Hi guys, I’m having a fuel computer put in my Navajo (Insight G4 Twin). I was wondering the labor I was looking at ? Thanks !

If I had to guess I’d say 2-3 days worth of labor. Maybe more if they uncover messes while running wiring.

Thanks for your reply.
And a radar ART2000 with an MX200 (that goes in place of the MX20)...?
My mechanic quoted me a very high amount of hours and I’m trying to understand how we get to 126 hrs of labour for this, installing Gaminjectors, removing a prop to change an alternator belt, putting a new prop governor (engines are already de-cowled), say a day of setting/up/troubleshooting/couple of flights.
Maybe he’s right, I’d just like to have another opinion...

Unless the new radar is totally plug-and-play with the existing wiring that doesn’t seem crazy. Anything avionics on a Navajo is going to take a lot of labor because the wiring is old, there’s no room, and you’re going to have to fix almost as much as you’re going to have to install.
