insitu fsr2

Insitu is a good outfit to work for. Deployment schedules are usually 4mo on at a time. Just don't agree to maintainer school or you'll find yourself wrenching instead of flying.

Scaneagle is a fantastic platform and unless you end up in BAF you're going to help make stuff disappear.

ETA: pay for a non-qualled guy is around $80k.

Sounds a bit high, the older guys were doing that high. Industry standard has come down to 60 or less base. The multiplier at Insitu I hear is ok, but not what it used to be. You'll still be 6 figures deployed, just not as high as last year or the year before. Be careful coming out, retrograde is happening a lot of places. You might be hired for the long or short haul. Be prepared to have a savings fund, because contracting is contracting.

My last deployment was with a fresh new hire. Prior navy with no aviation experience other than being a avionics maintainer.

Under the new insitu pay structure he made $82k. He has since been to MX and maritime school but I'm not sure he gets a pay bump for that.

The multiplier is still there but the FSRs are now hourly which means they can bill for OT but the bonus system is gone.

Pay at the prime is higher than at the subs.

yeah, that is way higher than they guys about 15 meters away. They're at 54. One of them with the company for 2 years. Maybe maritime pays higher? My op pays slightly higher, but 6/1 schedule. Hourly, but obviously no overtime when deployed, just 84 hrs + differentials on first 40.
