What products/tools/apps do you use to manage your calendar? What advertising or accepting payments?

How do you run the business side of your business?

I used Google Calendar and only accepted cash or check. But that was before the current crop of apps and credit card hardware for smartphones was available.

I have a square card reader for the phone, but pretty much get paid in cash. Nice to get one anyway (they are free), if you end up with a less-than-credit-worthy student. there is always the one that never remembers the checkbook. They are usually mainline FO's

I have a website, but the stack of cards left at a few FBOs get me 90% of calls, and word of mouth. Make sure whoever is behind the desk at local flight schools know what you do, that they don't, worth bringing them donuts and coffee a few times...
