So I went by the flight school at Merrill field here in Anchorage, called Take Flight Alaska, and had a good time talking to one of their instructors. I was able to answer a question that I haven't been able to answer, and that was, can someone who is 6'7" comfortably fit in a 152?

And the answer is yes.....
 
However one who is 6'8" does get stuck in a 150 Aerobat. Don't ask me how I know.

But luckily I can find white shirts with epaulletes with a 38/39 sleeve.

Go figure...
 
I hear Take Flight is a pretty good outfit. Where is PALJ?

EDIT: nevermind, I googled it. looks like it's accross the bay from Homer. how close is that to silver salmon creek? I went fishing there (silver salmon creek, that is) a coulple years ago.

Well, I have no idea where Silver Salmon Creek is. Sorry. But yeah, I had a good time out at Take Flight yesterday. Seemed a really together outfit.

In other news, I'm going to Arctic Thumder today, an airshow out an Elmendorf. I'll let you all know how it is.
 
Have fun at Arctic Thunder. I wanted to go, but I'm up on the north slope for the next couple weeks. Let us know how it is and post pics if you can.
