Starting at Ameriflight initial ground school next week! Like I said before, I do like real estate, but at this point, I would be prefer to do it as a hobby. Once, the flying bugs bites, it is hard to get rid of! I am very anxious to get back into flying. This is what I have always wanted to do long term. I haven't been flying very much lately, so I am worried this jump could be difficult, but I definitely am grateful for the opportunity! I can't wait to get started. OOTSK!

Congrats on the move? Staying in Phu-ho-nix? Going to hollyweird for training? watch out the the training captains on the left coast. I hear they can be a bear.......

With your hours, did they give you a bird off the bat? Keep us updated on the progress?

Oh man. If he gets THAT training CA, the political differences alone might cause a rip in the space/time continum. :)

Wow.... Can you picture those two in a cockpit together?

:panic:OMG

Congrats Mavmb I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Lol, Jtrain is a hardcore liberal? Actually a lot of my multi time was with Pilot602 in his Apache! And Pilot602 is definitely not a Republican, but I had a lot of fun flying with him and I'd vouch for him anyday! He was a whiz at that Apache ceiling trim wheel! :)

Not at AMF you won't. Out in the early am and back by the late pm for most runs. Long layovers, but if it's in a good city that's not necessarily a bad thing!

I still want to be a fly on the wall when you two finally sit down for a friendly mochaccino!

Ahh, it won't be that bad. Maybe a couple of extra inopportune instrument failures, but nothing more....:laff:

Almost everybody ends up having to fly a partial panel, single engine, full procedure NDB or VOR approach. Or at least my trainee's do, and the only reason they do is because my training captain made me do it :)

Personally, I think it's a blast. I miss not doing that kinda stuff on a regular basis like when I was training.

Oh yes, I watched a captain do an HDG "raw data" ILS approach in a 767 during initial. Loads of fun.
