us flight academy at DTO seems to be a pretty slick outfit. i've rented all 3 of their warriors and their arrow. i wanted to rent their turbo seneca but someone wrecked it (with an instructor on board, ouch). anyway, last time i was there (january) they were working on getting their part 141 certificate for commercial/instrument and had just gotten their PPL training course approved. their planes are nice, nice facility, pretty good mx. very friendly and helpful folks. i wouldn't mind getting hired there part time if it wasn't a 45 minute drive up to the airport from my neighborhood in FW. there's also a couple schools at arlington, spinks, sycamore (thorough preflight recommended) and.....uh...? work shouldn't be hard to find in the FW/D metroplex. good huntin'
