I\'m a Private Pilot!

I finished the eight week private pilot course today!! WOOHOO.

It all went really well...and I have to say that Bottini is a really awesome instructor! Does anybody have any idea how long it takes to get the temporary ppl certificate? From what I have heard it takes a couple of weeks. I think that everything was turned into records this afternoon. I was planning on just picking it up when I get back around the 20th...but if for some reason it is ready by this Saturday (the day I leave) i'll go pick it up then.

Holy crap dude, great job. I'd say under 5% finish as quick as you. And you're right, Bottini is a good guy.

Anyways, I doubt your temp will be ready, but you never know, just call on Friday before 3 pm to see if it's ready. Records isn't open on the weekend.

yeah...i kinda figured that it would take a long time for me to get the temporary. I am going to be really busy when i go home anyway - there will be no time to fly. I'll probably just go pick it up when i get back later this month.

Yeah, like the others have said, plan on waiting about a month or so for your temp.

Nice work guy! It's weird to think that when I was out there at the end of June, you soloed for the first time. Nicely done. Oh and yeah, MVY is treating me well, I'm loving this ramp job!
