In Nassau, I once saw a DL 757 with the tail number N666DL, fleet #666. I wouldn't wanna sit in row 13, on Friday the 13th on that one!

You just said it just before i did. I work for Delta here at SJC and that plane is a frequent visitor at SJC ship # 666 DL. At Delta the 600's and 6000's represent the B757. The other aircraft also have ID numbers such as 7000's for B777, 200's for B737-300, 100's for B767 and so forth.

FSI has a Seminole that is 66AL. The ID plate on the panel says 666AL with the first 6 blackened out.

I believe there was a United 767 that had both engines stop briefly after departing Honolulu. The tail # was N666UA. Read that one on Avweb!

I have heard people in DEN have refused to get on UA's 767 N666UA.

Can't say it would be my aircraft of choice!
