New to this forum, first post. I was brought up around this crazy thing we call aviation :insane: . However, I have been away from it for years and I am ooking to get back in quite heavy, with corporate being the goal. I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with this school. From what I see it is by far the best one on the field. Older equipment, but well maintained and very nice people. Thanks for the input!

I have been flying out of DPA for many years and can tell you that Illinois Aviation is by far the worst flight school on the field. I have never flown their aircraft but have had a few friends that were instructors there and said that the maintenance there was crappy at best. You have a lot of options to explore at DPA that said I would walk away from Illinois Aviation. Come to a Dupage pilots association meeting sometime, and get to know some of the local people flying out of DPA and get their opinions on the various flight schools on the field. The meetings are every saturday usually around 9 a.m. in the pilot lounge of the FSDO building free doughnuts and coffee served.If you want to know more information just PM me.
