IFR Long XC ? for the CFI\'s (or anyone else in the know)
So a couple of weeks ago and I am on my Long XC with my CFII. The first leg goes fine, then descending to the apt on the second leg it starts to get kind of bumpy and the stomach starts get a littel queasy. We depart the second field and climb back through the turbulence and then it happened....
Up came lunch. My CFII took the plane and ended up landing it at our home field.
After all that, here is the question? Does the entire flight need to be flown again to count for the requirements of the long XC? They (the fbo) are telling me it does, and if so fine. I can always use more time under the hood. I wallet screams at the thought of spending all that dough again.
