idiopathic seizure = permanent grounding?

I am sure I know the answer to this question...but does a single unexplained idiopathic seizure over 10 years ago with zero reoccurrences, still mean I am grounded with no chance for waiver?

Thanks,

No it does not. You will need to get copies of medical records and a current neurologicval evaluation with EG. You can call me to discuss this if you wish.

Not saying there is a direct connection here, but I do know a guy who is a winged Navy NFO now, who had a single seizure during a lab class when we were in NROTC together. He got a waiver and never had any other problems obtaining medical tickets on either the military or civilian side after that.
