I am trying to educate myself about what happens once I file an international flight plan. I understand it gets sent to the addressees on an 1801 or 7233. Are they just faxed/emailed a copy of the data, or is there an actual ICAO-wide software program that injests the data and tracks all international flight plans?
When an international controller tells me, "Your flight plan is not in the system," what does he mean by "the system". I'm trying to figure out the best way to troubleshoot this issue when it comes up.
