IACRA down?

9-5 Ruins Lives
IACRA seems to be not working in the state of Colorado this morning, anyone else having issues?

IACRA sucks. Such a waste of too much time. Give me the paper copy, and 5-7 minutes. Not 1hr and 4 forms later.

When I went to my local FSDO for my ground instructor cert, the FAA rep said "Thank God you didn't use IACRA."

Takes me less than 5 minutes to do IACRA.
Good for you, IACRA Master. If you're the recommending instructor, yeah, 5 minutes you're done. Hell I could do it in literally 1 minute if i didn't actually check to make sure my students times were correct, info was entered correctly, and the Exam ID# was already copied ready for me to paste. If your a student I call BS and want to see this first hand that you can fill in all your info, times, etc... in 5 minutes or less.

On a side note... I've been running into a problem as the recommending instructor, and this has come up NUMEROUS times with numerous DPE's and CFI's.... When a student goes for a private pilot certificate, they select original issuance, ASEL, Private Pilot. But, when you get to the review page and I go to e-sign it, it'll come up as ASES Private Pilot... Same for the Commercial ASEL btw. It's rather annoying. Anyone else have this issue? I've had 6 sign-offs in 3 weeks and it happens every dang time...

Both. To me, it is much easier to use IACRA. It prefills my information and I just really need to select the certificate sought and put my hours in.
