I got a job in Alaska

I just passed my 135 checkride and I am into IOE for a smaller outfit in Bethel Alaska called Yute Air. Two weeks on, two weeks off with cabin only jumpseat on Alaska. Company provided housing kinda sucks, but the price is right.

Flying the 207 to all the different dirt strips is a kick in the pants.

I plan to stay in Colorado for a short time to finish up my students but the commute sucks. I was stuck in SEA for 36 hours trying to get home. Wish we were CASS.

Congrats!! You will remember your "Alaska Time" for your whole career. Bethel is not the end of the world.........but you can see it from there!
