I'm now Commercial Single- and Multi- engine land, instrument airplane. And, er... english proficient.

ISN'T THAT EXCITING? Next step is CFI-A, for which I'm visitin' Sandy Eggo in early July.

STRESS, FRET.

Congrats! Where are you doing your CFI in SD?

As per recommendations from a couple of people on this forum, I'm paying a visit to Dave Simpson, aka http://www.takeflightsandiego.com/ who offers a ~five-day accelerated finish-up for the CFI. I believe he uses Plus One Flyers out of MYF / SEE / RNM

I've been studying for a long time, but I'm sweating bullets trying to make sure I'm prepared enough when I get down there.

I can tell you that the CFI ride is much harder in theory than in reality. Follow the PTS to the letter and you will be golden.

Nice choice. I know him, and know others who have used him. It's a solid program. I know one girl who just passed her CFI with that program and the FSDO said they haven't seen such a well-rounded and prepared applicant in years. I'll be doing my CFI same time/location (MYF) with a different instructor.

Congrats! While it seems like a lot now, having that finish up date on the calendar will ultimately help you better prepare yourself. I know it worked for me.
