How to force the G430/530 into TERMinal sensitivity

For those of you who are familiar with the Garmin 430 and 530 units, I'm hoping you can help.

Quite regularly, I'll depart my home field and go to some randomly chosen waypoint to do a non-published hold. The problem is that most of the units (430's) will switch to en-route sensitivity where full scale deflection is 5nm, so that's not really suitable for training.

One unit (with WAAS) will show a 2nm scale in this phase of flight under similar conditions, so I'm thinking that the settings can be modified somehow to effect this change.

Do any Garmin gurus here know how to force terminal sensitivity? I checked the product documentation, but was unable to find an answer.

*While I was searching, I did find out how to disable WAAS in order to do LNAV only approaches.:yup:

It's in the settings. You can change the CDI sensitivity. Can't really give you a walkthrough though. Sorry. Just search around in the menus and you can find it pretty easy to change the units.

Edit: Nevermind. Got a bit ahead of myself.
