How pleasureable is your line award at CJC this month?

Mine's a gem. I start off with two CI days so i'm at their mercy. then I get 5 off which is nice but then the fun begins...

I have a nice three day that ends at noon. totally commutable except for the fact that there are two day trips tacked on the end of it which both start out over 12:30 for duty time and end after the last available flight home. both of those days block right at min guarantee plus less than five minutes. There is a large amount of sitting involved. I will then get one night at home, eating up both days off commuting. I will follow that with a three day that starts at 5am, then ends at noon. at least its commutable on the last day. i get two days off followed by early show 12:30 scheduled duty 4 hour block day trip into a min contractual rest then begin a 4 day trip which is possibly commutable on the back end. Two days off then two more day trip specials with 12:30 duty and min block.

Whoever constructed this schedule is either

1. Mentally Retarded
2. Evil
3. Never constructed a schedule out of EWR before
4. Deserves to die.

I love spanjers. He gives great pleasure.

Fixed it for you.

Since you were wondering...mine is much better than that. In fact, I would call is semi-pleasurable.

Where'd you see this thread going?

I got my second choice, and my only hope for a decent schedule is a good showing in the line improvement window. These lines are horrible.

Since I'm a reserve Captain I will be covering for all the weak and weary skippers from Houston to Boston

Lines suck, no question about it. However....

I am not going to bitch and moan all month about it, all that will do is put me in a nasty funk and do the same to the rest of the crew. It sucks, yup, maybe I can put sugar on it with the SEW, who knows...

I'll fly my line and if I get tired, fatigue will be called from the highest mountain top
